Salary is set at $31.25 per hour. Position is not eligible for benefits or relocation support.
The Parametric Summer Internship Program provides current college students with an opportunity to learn more about Technology in the asset management industry. An Intern on any one of our software engineering teams at Parametric will be responsible for assisting with the design, development, and integration of technology solutions to support all aspects of our investment platform. In this role, the Intern will leverage new and existing technologies to build and maintain services that scale the platform, including on-prem systems and cloud native AWS microservices.
We are looking for individuals that have a strong curiosity and passion for learning new things, while continuously challenging oneself to build things better and more scalable.
Job Requirements
• Current Junior or rising Senior undergraduate or graduate student progressing towards a degree with a concentration in Computer Science, or related field
• Interest in working on large scale software development and deployment
• Basic understanding of Python, Java, C# or other object-oriented related programming language preferred
• Aptitude for highly efficient data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git
• A creative, self-confident self-motivator with a "can do" spirit
• Good communication skills
• Interest in the Financial services industry
